# Design Workflow

1. **Start a New Project**  
    Set your project name, box dimensions, and material thickness.  
    Enable the sides you plan to work with.
2. **Design using 2D View**  
    Select one of the sides (Front, Top, etc.) to start editing.
3. **Add Components**  
    Use **Shift + R** or **Shift + C** to add rectangles or circles.  
    Adjust their position and size using the right panel or the 2D area.
4. **Preview in 3D**  
    Toggle 3D view to see your full box. Rotate with your mouse to inspect. See keyboards shortcuts section for navigating.
5. **Save Your Design**  
    Export the project as a `.json` file with ![💾](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/svg/1f4be.svg) **Export**.  
    You can now process this file using MIDILLI’s free tools to generate SVG, G-Code, or STL.  
    Tip: Copy the recommended commands to use with the tools. You can make further adjustments by checking the available commands in the tools if necessary.
